Transaction Finder

This is a powerful facility to aid financial management.  Individuals who process transactions are not always the only people who want to find records of specific batches or items. Solchar has designed Finder to work with either the local database or a central archive across a network. There is a broad range of standard search criteria available - here are some examples:

         •   item data: amount, account, sort code, reference/serial
             number, processing date
         •   designated reference fields: invoicenumber, customer name
             promotional code
         •   data within ranges
         •   wildcard searches

When viewing the search results complete information is available about the batch and individudal items and an image of each processed item.  This information can be exported to reports and images exchanged for scrutiny through email.  This is particularly valuable to examine items and discrepancies or reconstitute information about a batch or item that has been lost or destroyed.

Finder provides a rapid means to reconcile bank account activity and check bank charges for transactions within the relevant period. Transaction Finder will provide data on the total number of credits and cheques that were deposited, as well as the values.  Transaction Monitoring, a requirement under anti money-laundering legislation, can be undertaken using TF and is especially convenient to locate and report on cheques over a certain value threshold.
