Transaction Manager (TM)

This is the powerful heart of the Transaction Journaltm  As such, it plays a key role even though it is fairly invisible to end users. It is designed to coordinate and consolidate information within a networked environment but can also provide synergy for standalone systems.

TM architecture will support a flexible hierarchy of individual Transaction Managers that can be tailored to prevailing requirements.  TM functions include:

        •  coordinating capture devices installed across an organisation
        •  interfacing data and images between one or more networks
        •  information interface using standardised store and forward mechanisms
        •  serving as an upload destination for one or multiple TJ configurations
        •  behaving as a research and retrieval engine for Transaction Finder
        •  scheduling mechanism for administators
        •  system maintenance for backups and data purges
